The Launch 13.02.2025 | Calabash Garden, P.O.S. , Trinidad & Tobago

A decade ago, Africa Film TT was established out of the desire to create a space where Caribbean voices could find inspiration from the cinemas of Africa.

More than a showcase, it became a platform for learning, growth, and building a future for local filmmakers and multimedia creatives. We have dedicated ourselves to providing the tools and opportunities needed to nurture talent right here at home.
Staying true to this mission, we have witnessed the transformative power of our work year after year. AFTT has solidified its position as one of the most respected and culturally significant film events in the region.

Caribbean Film Festival is a natural evolution of our mission. Not just a continuation of our work, it is a bold step towards the future of Caribbean cinema – a key player in the development and promotion of films in the region.
