Astride, a forty-year-old artist and illustrator, flees her Parisian daily life after discovering her infertility. In an effort to rebuild herself, she travels to the archipelago to stay with a couple of friends who have taken over an agricultural garden, where she finds solace in working the land. There, she meets Inaya, a little girl who will force her to confront herself.
